According to experts, there is a complex connection between the brain and the digestive system, so this is why stress can be the cause of digestive issues. Those who suffer from chronic stress may also trigger problems such as irritable bowel syndrome. If you find yourself needing the toilet a little too often, or not enough then you may need to stop and think if there is something in your life causing you excess stress.
